NorCal EVs

Our Leaders

Meet the people behind NorCal EVs

Leadership

Built by members who make things happen.

NorCal EVs is a registered 501(c)(7) community run by volunteers who care about building the strongest cross-brand EV community in Northern California. Titles exist for clarity, not hierarchy. Leadership here means helping the community show up consistently, stay welcoming, and keep moving forward.

Board of Directors

The team that keeps things moving.

The board handles governance, finances, legal compliance, and strategic direction. It meets at least quarterly.

Executive Director

Sets direction, keeps momentum, and helps make sure the community stays aligned with its mission.

Vice President

Supports planning and operations, and helps keep key initiatives moving when more hands are needed.

Secretary

Maintains records, documentation, and board communication so the community stays organized and accountable.

Treasurer

Oversees finances, reporting, and the basic systems that keep NorCal EVs sustainable over time.

Community Leadership Team

The people who run the day-to-day work.

Events Lead

Owns the event calendar, coordinates logistics, and makes sure meetups and drives actually happen on schedule.

Communications Lead

Manages social media, email and newsletter, and community announcements across our online hub.

Membership Lead

Owns the member experience from sign-up to renewal, welcoming new members and keeping people engaged.

Partnerships Lead

Builds and maintains relationships with other EV groups, local businesses, and aligned community partners.

Regional Leads

Point people for specific NorCal areas as the community grows beyond any one city or corridor.

Leadership Expectations

What we ask of anyone stepping up.

  • Be an active, dues-paying member
  • Attend events regularly, not just organize them
  • Respond to communications within 48 hours
  • Follow through on commitments
  • Represent NorCal EVs values in how they show up
  • Ask for help when they need it
